Replacing Tetanus Toxoid (TT) Vaccine to Tetanus diphtheria (Td/dT). The WHO Strategic Advisory Group of Experts (SAGE) recommended replacing Tetanus Toxoid (TT) with Tetanus Diphtheria (Td) in 1998. The WHO position paper on diphtheria reinforced the recommendation in 2006. The Maldives Technical Advisory Group on lmmunization (MTAGI) at its meeting on January 2014 decided to replace TT to Td in Maldives.
